Craftsmanship & Materials

What kind of leather do you use?

We work predominantly with top-grain, full-grain and premium vegetable-tanned leathers, including kangaroo leather for applications requiring exceptional strength.
Each product uses the leather best suited to its purpose — structure, flexibility, thickness and long-term durability all guide our material selection.

Every product page clearly states exactly which leather is used and why.

Are your products really handmade?

Yes. Every Vektor Leather piece is crafted by hand in Australia.
We cut, stitch, edge, burnish and finish each item in small batches where precision matters more than speed.

How do you stitch your products?

Every stitch is placed by hand — either fully hand-sewn or hand-guided on a machine, depending on the discipline required.
We don’t use automation or mass-production programming.

Because stitching is done entirely by skilled hands, subtle variations occur naturally.
These have no effect on performance or durability — they’re part of authentic leathercraft.

Will my product look exactly like the photos?

Not always.
Because we produce in small batches and never over-process our leather, you may see natural variations in grain, tone and texture.
These are signs of genuine premium leather, not faults.

Do your products stretch?

All genuine leather relaxes with use. Wallets mould to your cards, edges soften, and surfaces develop a patina.
This is normal and part of the material’s life cycle.

Orders & Production

How long does it take to process my order?

Most orders ship within 1–3 business days.
Custom or personalised items may take a little longer — we’ll contact you if so.

Do you offer bespoke or custom work?

Yes. Bespoke work is a growing part of our business.
We offer:

Do you offer wholesale or private-label?

Yes.
We create small-batch production runs for Premium Specialty Retailers, corporate partners and organisations needing custom leather goods.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide.

How much is shipping within Australia?

  • $10 AUD for orders under $120

  • Free shipping for orders $120+

How long does delivery take?

  • Australia: 2–7 business days

  • International: 6–27 business days depending on destination

Do you provide tracking?

Yes.
Tracking is emailed automatically once your order is dispatched.

Returns, Exchanges & Warranty

What is your returns policy?

We comply fully with Australian Consumer Law.
If an item has a manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace or refund it.

Do you accept change-of-mind returns?

Because we produce in small batches, often to order, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns.

What if my item is faulty?

Email care@vektorleather.com with:

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • clear photos of the product and packaging

We’ll take care of it.

Leather Care & Maintenance

How do I care for my leather product?

  • avoid prolonged moisture

  • let leather dry naturally if wet

  • keep away from direct heat

  • condition occasionally with a quality leather balm

  • avoid over-stuffing wallets or pouches

Will my leather scratch or mark?

Yes — and this is normal.
Premium full-grain and top-grain leathers develop marks that blend into the patina and become part of the item’s character.

Payments & Security

What payment methods do you accept?

Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, major credit and debit cards.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes.
Payments are encrypted and processed securely.
We never see or store your full card details.

Gifts & Personalisation

Do you offer personalisation?

Yes — many products can be personalised with initials, names, dates, logos or short inscriptions.
